Blizzard has revealed the first confirmed reward for the October 2026 Trading Post: the Thornshadow Assassin's Attire transmog set. The company announced the monthly bonus in its Sept. 25 WoW Weekly roundup, giving collectors an early look at what they can earn next month.
To unlock the ensemble, players will need to complete activities in October's Traveler's Log and fill its monthly progress bar. The set is the bonus for finishing that track. Blizzard has not listed it as an item to buy with Trader's Tender.
The preview gives October's Trading Post a costume-and-assassin theme, but it does not reveal the complete inventory. Blizzard has not yet detailed the other mounts, pets, toys or appearances that vendors may offer. Players should treat lists of additional October items as unconfirmed until the full lineup is published.
Trading Post vendors can be found in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, Dornogal and the renewed Silvermoon City. Blizzard also reminded players that September's Trading Post Outlet will close before the vendors switch to their October selection. Anyone saving an item from the current Outlet should check it before the rotation.
The announcement appeared in a weekly roundup that also covered WoW Forever, but the Thornshadow reward was presented as part of the October Trading Post. Blizzard did not announce it as a WoW Forever beta reward.
