Blizzard has released “Legacy of Rage,” a new World of Warcraft: Midnight comic centered on the young Amani troll Zul’jan. The story adds more background to one of the key figures behind the Curse of Ula’tek storyline.
Zul’jan is caught between the fading legacy of his people and the promise of ancient power. Memories of his childhood collide with the difficult present as a mysterious mentor pushes him toward a dangerous new path.
The comic explores Zul’jan’s relationship with his grandfather’s legacy, the divided loyalties among the Amani, and his hope for a new troll rise. It also raises an important question: whether the power being offered will truly help the Amani or serve someone else’s plan.
“Legacy of Rage” was written by Robert Brooks, with art and cover by Marco Del Forno, colors by Mauro Gulma, and lettering by AndWorld Design. Blizzard has made the comic available online and as a downloadable PDF, with a narrated version featuring Yeukayi Ushe as Zul’jan.
