World of Warcraft: Midnight Season 2 is now live, bringing a fresh Mythic+ rotation and a new reward ladder. The season began during the week of August 18 in North America and August 19 in Europe. Players can also collect their first Season 2 rewards from the Great Vault.

The pool contains five Midnight dungeons: Altar of Fangs, Murder Row, Den of Nalorakk, The Blinding Vale, and Voidscar Arena. Three older instances return to complete the eight-dungeon list: Ruby Life Pools, Kings’ Rest, and Temple of Sethraliss. That mix gives groups new routes to learn while bringing familiar mechanics back into the seasonal format.

The rating rewards start with the “the Venomous” title at 1,500 Mythic+ rating. Reaching 2,000 awards the green Breath of Blight mount, while 3,000 unlocks the red Breath of Ruin mount. Both are skeletal dragon mounts styled around the toxic look of Midnight Season 2.

Players who complete each dungeon at Mythic level 10 or higher within the time limit can earn a teleport to that dungeon. At the top of the ladder, the best 1% of eligible players receive Venomous Champion, while the top 0.1% receive Venomous Hero. Blizzard says the final cutoffs will be calculated after the season ends.

The practical first step is simple: learn the new dungeon pool, build rating steadily, and check the Great Vault each week. The dungeon list, rating thresholds, mounts, titles, and portals are confirmed by Blizzard; no claim about the easiest dungeon or best route is made here because those judgments will change as players gain experience and tuning arrives.
