World of Warcraft: Midnight Season 2 has opened the doors to the Venomous Abyss, a new eight-boss raid on the Coiled Isle. Normal, Heroic, Mythic, and the first Raid Finder wing became available with the regional reset during the week of August 18.
The raid follows the story of Zul’jan and the awakened Ula’tek, an ancient creature linked to hatred, corruption, and venom. Players must fight through Ula’tek’s brood before reaching the inner sanctum and facing the monster at the heart of the raid.
The first Raid Finder wing, The Soulcoilers, includes Nek’zali the Soulcoiler and the Twin Fangs. Later wings will unlock weekly, while Story Mode and the second Raid Finder wing are scheduled for the week of August 25. Raid Finder requires item level 273.
The Venomous Abyss also brings new achievements, class armor sets, and high-end rewards. Mythic players can earn the Primeval Skyfriend mount from Ula’tek, while defeating the final boss on Mythic awards the title “Venom’s End.”
